I loved this mystery road trip from GuessWhereTrips so much. As the organizer in my family, I plan all of our adventures. I love doing this but it's a lot of work. A LOT. I spend so much time researching and making sure the itinerary works that I never get the chance to just sit back and "go along for the ride" and I am NEVER surprised.
This experience was such a gift! Not only did I get to visit places I had never been to before, I got to be surprised and this made me feel like a kid again! All this with absolutely ZERO effort on my part. It was one of the highlights of our whole year!
Here are a few pictures from the trip we took (without giving too much away!) Let's just say it was a full day and my teenager fell asleep on the car ride home. I haven't seen her do that in years. I am so grateful for this time we got to spend together... and that I didn't have to do any work to enjoy it!
How It Works
The mystery trip (from GuessWhereTrips) is revealed through a series of envelopes that you open throughout the day.
It is a completely self guided trip and nothing needs to be booked in advance.
Each package includes 5 envelopes. The “Before You Go” packet provides details like a packing list, how long you’ll spend in the car, etc. (all trips are day trips). I would recommend reading this at least 1 day before you go. It will help get you excited for the trip and plan for your departure time.
The rest of the 4 envelopes are your stops. You open them one at a time while you are on the road.
There are five different themed itineraries to choose from in Georgia. We picked the Wacky Wonders tour because we like quirky spots and art!
You can add additional options as shown below (we got the gift box and tote) to make this a great gift for the holidays, anniversary, summer adventures...the options are endless but one thing I know for certain is, an experience is the best gift you can give!
